We rigorously evaluated 22 highly popular sunscreens, focusing on their compatibility with medium to darker skin tones. We entrusted this task to a diverse group of dermatology residents, who considered factors like white cast, ease of application, greasiness, makeup compatibility, odor, allergenicity, and immediate skin effects.
